Fear of Failure

There is a word for the intense fear of failure, known as atychiphobia. People with atychiphobia may avoid situations where they see potential failures, such as an exam, job interview, or social situation.

Have you ever avoided attempting something because you were so frightened of failing? Or perhaps you unconsciously sabotaged your efforts to prevent the potential of a bigger failure because you were afraid of failing?

This is undoubtedly something that many of us have gone through at some point. The dread of failing can paralyse us; it can keep us from acting, which prevents us from advancing. But when we let fear stand in the way of moving forward in life, we stand to lose out on many wonderful chances.

By treating these negative and intense emotions, hypnotherapy can assist you in locating the source of the issue. You may have grown up with little self-worth because you were continually criticised by your parents or taunted by an older sibling for not trying hard enough or living up to their standards. Perhaps as a student, you felt it wasn’t worth trying or were too afraid to try again if you made the same error because your teacher was stern and quicker to criticise than to appreciate.

In hypnosis, I will lead you into a relaxed state while reassuring you that you are secure and in complete control. The happy emotions that come with success overwhelm any bad emotions and persist longer. You are the only person you will ever need to prove yourself to.

A session with me can help you rewire your brain to build new and healthy habits that will help you achieve your goals in both your professional and personal lives.

All my love,

Leanne
