Comfort Zone

Your comfort zone is not a good benchmark. Let’s have a look at some of these examples:

• You may feel like a sleazy self-promoter if you’re not used to being noticed.

• Unapologetic pursuit of one’s goals can feel like aggressiveness when you’re not used to being assertive.

• Showing up for yourself can feel like arrogance if you’re not used to feeling confident.

• Putting yourself first occasionally can feel self-indulgent if you’re not used to it.

These are prime examples of how relying on your “comfort zone” as a standard can cause issues. As an individual, you are meant to develop, grow, crave more, and be more than you are now.

Let go of the idea that staying tiny is a sign of humility and wisdom because you’ve been tricked into thinking it is.
